Wefes Seit einigen Jahren ist es am CFG gute Tradition, dass die Fachschaft Sozialwissenschaften zusammen mit einem ihrer Leistungskurse vor anstehenden Wahlen die Wuppertaler Kandidaten zum Kandidatencheck ins PZ am Schulzentrum Süd bittet. Dieser Bitte kamen die Kandidaten für das Oberbürgermeisteramt – mit Sicherheitsabstand, Händedesinfektion und Maskenpflicht – teilweise nach: Marcel Hafke (FDP) und Mira Lehner (Die Partei) erschienen persönlich, die anderen Kandidatinnen und Kandidaten schickten Stellvertreter aus ihren Parteien. Im Unterricht waren im Vorfeld bereits Verfahren und Abläufe der Kommunalwahl und wichtige lokale Themen erarbeitet worden, um den Schülern – viele von ihnen dürfen erstmals an einer Wahl teilnehmen – eine Orientierung für ihre Wahlentscheidung zu geben. Ein hilfreiches Onlinetool stellte hierbei der Talomat dar. Nun konnten sich sie auch noch einen persönlichen Eindruck von den Kandidaten verschaffen....
