Aug. 6, 2024 [DETROIT] – Bedrock’s Decked Out Detroit and Bluewater Technologies have partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan (BGCSM) to develop an immersive eight-week curriculum for Detroit youth to learn the art and technology of musical engineering. The program, launched on June 17, will run through September and conclude with an opportunity for students to showcase their original works on Remix Detroit’s next soundboard. Presented by Bedrock and powered by Bluewater Technologies, Remix Detroit, an interactive music lab in the heart of downtown Detroit, has featured a rotating soundboard of beats inspired by genres such as Motown and Techno.
