As part of an ongoing partnership with Škoda, Bridgestone has developed tyres featuring its ground-breaking ENLITEN Technology for the all-electric Škoda Enyaq iV. ENLITEN Technology helps reduce tyre weight and rolling resistance while supporting the Enyaq’s handling and wet grip. To meet Škoda’s demanding standards for handling, wear, efficiency and longevity, Bridgestone developed Turanza Eco tyres with ENLITEN Technology that reduces tyre rolling resistance by up to 30% and weight by up to 20%[1], helping the Enyaq iV offer up to 529km electric range. Tyres with ENLITEN Technology are also lighter, requiring up to 2kg less raw materials per tyre. Škoda Enyaq iV is the latest in a line of VW Group’s electric models to feature tyres with ENLITEN Technology, following the Audi Q4 e-tron, Volkswagen ID.3/ID.4/ID.5, and Cupra Born.
