I built the look around the shoes because it was the first time I was able to wear them since last fall.Coming out of what felt like one of the coldest winters we’ve had in years, NYC is finally hitting 60 degrees, occasionally. I was recently inspired to pull my cobalt blue mesh flats from the back of my closet, as my toes rightfully haven’t seen the light of day in months. I styled an outfit from the shoes up, opting for muted spring colors to let the blue have the spotlight.Pastels are an obvious choice, but combined can quickly melt into saccharine candy sweetness.
