 A HISTÓRIA DA ASSOCIAÇÃO BRASILEIRA DE ASSISTÊNCIA E DESENVOLVIMENTO SOCIAL – ABADS (ANTIGA PESTALOZZI DE SÃO PAULO)
 
 
 Em 15 de setembro de 1952, foi fundada a Sociedade Pestalozzi de São Paulo. Eram oito crianças em 1952, que residiam na primeira casa da Sociedade, na Alameda Cleveland, imóvel este que a Instituição ocupava por empréstimo. Foi então, em 1971, que a Pestalozzi recebeu um terreno cedido ela prefeitura municipal de São Paulo para a construção de sua sede própria onde, em março de 1974, deu-se início a construção da nova sede; e em 1983, se realizou a primeira assembleia de diretoria na nova sede localizada na Avenida Morvan Dias de Figueiredo. Alguns ex-alunos da Pestalozzi, que aprenderam a ler e a escrever na instituição conquistaram a dignidade do trabalho e estão até hoje, participando desta obra interminável, que já cobre ...
