No começo da noite de ontem (17/6), ocorreu um acidente de moto na rodovia BR 392. O fato aconteceu nas proximidades da localidade de Esquina União, em São Pedro do Butiá.
 Segundo testemunhas o motociclista, empresário em Cerro Largo, transitava pela rodovia quando teria tido a frente cortada por um veículo. 
 A vítima foi socorrida e levada ao Hospital de Caridade Serro Azul, em Cerro Largo, aparentemente com ferimentos sem maior gravidade. Depois foi encaminhado a Santo Ângelo, por precaução, para a realização de mais exames.
 A Polícia Rodoviária Federal atendeu a ocorrência.
