I promised to write this blogpost a mere four years ago. What the hell’s taken me so long? I have EXCUSES . But before we get to those, let’s do a quick recap. Way back in 2018 we were on a mission at Reach Academy Feltham. A mission to build the best curriculum in the world. We’d had some joy with knowledge organisers in the preceding years, but we didn’t feel that by themselves they gave either teachers nor pupils what they needed or deserved. So we embarked on the mammoth task of writing detailed curriculum resources for history and geography across Key Stages 1-3. The plan was to write a work booklet for every unit in the national curriculum in these subjects.
