Instead of the rabbi giving a sermon on the week’s parashah, she takes on a deeper dive into its meaning and language, and encourages participation and thoughts to be shared by the congregation. It is always illuminating. I wasn’t going to share thoughts on this week’s parashah because I knew it would have a political slant, and I had already gone down that road last week.
